This study was conducted with the aim of explaining the process of strategic reconfiguration of international supply chains in the path of export development. The study was qualitative in nature and employed a systematic grounded theory approach. Data were collected through 15 in-depth semi-structured interviews with experts and managers in the fields of supply chain, export, logistics, and foreign trade in Tehran, and data collection continued until theoretical saturation was achieved. Data analysis was carried out in three stages: open coding, axial coding, and selective coding, and the categories were organized based on a paradigm model in the form of causal conditions, contextual conditions, intervening conditions, strategies, and consequences. The findings revealed that supply chain reconfiguration is shaped under the influence of competitive, technological, and geopolitical pressures, and its successful realization requires dynamic capabilities, digitalization, information integration, flexibility, and organizational learning. The extracted strategies emphasized network collaboration with suppliers, logistics partners, and foreign distributors, as well as the utilization of data-driven infrastructures. The consequences of this process included increased supply chain resilience, improved export performance, enhanced competitive positioning, and greater resistance to environmental disruptions. From a theoretical perspective, the study enriched the existing literature by presenting a paradigm model for the reconfiguration of international supply chains; and from a managerial standpoint, it demonstrated that the supply chain should be viewed as a strategic lever for export development, rather than merely an operational system
